Protecting your private information is our priority. This Statement of Privacy applies to calypso.ai, calgpt.com and Calypso by Monos Digital Inc. and governs data collection and usage. For the purposes of this Privacy Policy, unless otherwise noted, all references to Calypso by Monos Digital Inc. include calgpt.com and Calypso. Calypso is a chatbot-based assistant built on OpenAI’s GPT-3.5 (text-davinci-003) artificial intelligence text model which integrates with G Suite services by Google.

By using the Calypso website and all associated extensions (the "App"), you consent to the data practices described in this statement. In addition to Calypso’s Privacy Policy, Calypso your use of Calypso also falls under the Privacy Policy of OpenAI, our primary service provider, which can be reviewed at the following link: https://openai.com/privacy/

Collection of your Personal Information

Calypso collects anonymous demographic information, which is not unique to you, such as your age and gender. We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. However, you may be required to provide certain personal information to us when you elect to use certain products or services available on the App and website. These may include: (a) registering for an account on our App; (b) entering a sweepstakes or contest sponsored by us or one of our partners; (c) signing up for special offers from selected third parties; (d) sending us an email message; (e) submitting your credit card or other payment information when ordering and purchasing products and services on our App. To wit, we will use your information for, but not limited to, communicating with you in relation to services and/or products you have requested from us. We also may gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future with your consent.

Collection, use, and sharing of Google User Data

By authenticating Calypso with Google, you allow Calypso to access the following information: (a) your name; (b) your contacts list; and (c) your Google Calendar information, including but not limited to calendar list, availability, and events. Only Google Calendar is stored by Calypso; no other Google User Data is stored. Calypso does not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise share Google User Data with any third parties. All of our trusted partners and other third parties are prohibited from using your personal information, and are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information. Calypso may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Calypso or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Calypso; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Calypso, or the public.

Collection of your Log & Usage Data

Calypso collects anonymized and limited information about your usage of Calypso. Specifically, Calypso stores anonymized prompts and responses for training data. Calypso does not store entire conversation logs, with collection limited to prompts immediately before a response. In addition, your usage of “Try Again” and “Add to Calendar” are tracked as positive and negative indicators for the performance of the App, and are used in aggregate to improve the performance of the services you have requested. Calypso does not see or log data related to your Google account integration in any way. Data regarding our G Suite integration is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy. Use of your Personal Information

Calypso collects and uses your personal information to operate its website(s) and deliver the services you have requested when you make an account with us via our third-party integration. Calypso uses this data internally in order to conduct machine-learning analysis, and uses it for suggestions and optimization of user experience, as-well as sustain communications with our user-base in order to notify them of updates, changes, and special offers.

Sharing Information with Third Parties

Calypso does not sell, rent, lease, or otherwise share your anonymous data, such as age, gender, country/state/province of residence, hardware information, and similar, with any third parties. All of our trusted partners and other third parties are prohibited from using your personal information, and are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information. Calypso may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on Calypso or the site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Calypso; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of Calypso, or the public.

Automatically Collected Information

Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected by Calypso. This information can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Calypso website and associated services.

Use of Cookies

The Calypso website may use "cookies" to help you personalize your online experience. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a web page server. Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you, and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time. The purpose of a cookie is to tell the Web server that you have returned to a specific page. For example, if you personalize Calypso pages, or register with Calypso app, website, or services, a cookie helps Calypso to recall your specific information on subsequent visits. This simplifies the process of recording your personal information, such as billing addresses, shipping addresses, and so on. When you return to the same Calypso website, the information you previously provided can be retrieved, so you can easily use the Calypso features that you customized. You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. If you choose to decline cookies, you may not be able to fully experience the interactive features of the Calypso services or websites you visit.

Personal Information Security

Calypso secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Calypso uses the following methods for this purpose:

  • SSLProtocol
  • AES256-bit encryption using Google Cloud Standard Encryption When personal information (such as a credit card number) is transmitted to other websites, it is protected through the use of encryption, such as the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. We strive to take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or alteration of your personal information. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, you acknowledge that: (a) there are security and privacy limitations inherent to the Internet which are beyond our control; and (b) security, integrity, and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between you and us through the App and website cannot be guaranteed.

Children Under Sixteen

Calypso does not knowingly collect, either online or offline, personal information (as defined by the Children Online Privacy Protection Act) from persons under the age of sixteen.

Data Removal, Opt-Out, & GDPR Compliance

As per the recent adoption of the General Data Protection Regulation for users in the European Union & California, as an act of compliance and respect for our users’ privacy, Calypso allows you to manage your data and opt-out of data collection.

Please send an email to support@calgpt.com to request a removal of any and all personal information. In addition, you may remove Calypso from the list of authorized apps via settings via our third-party integration partner. After removing the integration, which is identical to removing your account with Calypso, no data will be stored inside or outside the app.

Additionally, we respect your privacy and also give you an opportunity to opt-out of receiving announcements and sustaining communications with Calypso and its affiliates also by clicking or tapping the “UNSUBSCRIBE” in any email sent to you, or by muting all or certain notifications via the settings menu of your device.

E-mail Communications

From time to time, Calypso may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication.

If you would like to stop receiving marketing or promotional communications via email from Calypso, you may opt out of such communications by clicking or tapping "UNSUBSCRIBE" within any email, or by toggling the feature in the mobile application settings.

External Data Storage Sites

We may store your data on servers provided by third party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted.

Changes to this Statement

Calypso reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account, by placing a prominent notice on our website, and/or by updating any privacy information on this page. Your continued use of the App and website and/or Services available through this App and website after such modifications will constitute your: (a) acknowledgment of the modified Privacy Policy; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by that Policy.
